A Few Fall Faves

As promised, I am back with another fall inspired post! If you haven’t already, go and check out yesterday’s post all about Pantone’s new fall 2011 colors & inspiration!

Today, I thought it might be fun to use those colors as inspiration and showcase a few must-have fall items! I always have fun virtual shopping {and regular shopping for that matter} and this ‘trip’ was no different!

Let’s go shopping…

Here the breakdown:

1. Made by Girl’s Jen Ramos is one of my favorite bloggers! She is fantastic!! She just returned to her artistic roots and create Cocoa & Hearts where she sells her beautiful paintings. This particular painting is perfect for the scheme! Go & check her out!!

2. Who doesn’t love a sunburt mirror? This one is perfect because it echos that lovely bamboo/gold hue from the fall color line up! At only $89.99 from Target, it is a steal of a deal!

3. Watercolor prints are in~ remember the post all about it? Well, this lumbar pillow from Furbish is perfect for the season with it’s colors & print!

4. I am loving round pillows and this jeweled jade pillow from World Market makes a great statement piece for your chair or sofa! It encompasses metallics and the deep jewel tone that is so popular for the fall season!

5. Metallics have been all the rage for quite a few seasons and this fall they are once again! I love, love, love these metallic set of 3 from Pier 1.

6. Inject some literall autumn elements next season with this fun leaf platter from Crate & Barrel.

7. I love tiered fabrics, especially for drapery! This deep purple curtain from Urban Outiffters brings in a dramatic touch to finish off a room!

8. Ottomans are a great way to add extra seating, an area to prop your feet up and even a side table/ coffee table option to your space. They are great pieces because they can serve many purposes! This ottoman from West Elm is a great way to interject some pattern into a space!

9. Rugs are an essential piece to any space, they seperate and designate spaces, add luxury & comfort to a space and they create interest. This stylized geometric rug from the Company C incorporates greens, deep teals, sky blues and gold. It’s a fun rug that will create a focal point in a room!

10. Deep purple is one of the featured colors for next season. It’s not for everyone, but it can be a sharp color to add to an interior. It’s luxurious, saturated and dramatic. I am loving the Pierre Chair by Z Gallerie, the deep purple paired with the silver nailheads is a perfect combo!

Fun virtual shopping trip? What are your go to colors for the fall season? Have any items you are drooling over for next season? DO TELL. I would love to hear all about it!

I am loving the purple! Just the other night, I was looking around my living room, wondering how I could change it up a bit. My first thought was adding bits of purple and getting rid of the red. Instead of green, gold, and red I think green, gold, and purple would be fun! Thanks for the inspiration!

Nicole- Thanks for stopping by!! I love the purple too!! It would go great with the gold and green shades you are talking about! If you decide to pop purple into your living room- take before & afters- I would LOVE to see it!!

What a great roundup! I LOVE the metallic trio from Pier 1 AND the Urban Outfitters shower curtain. I dreamed about it in ivory for months but had to pass it up for a less expensive version – I couldn’t justify $80 on a shower curtain when I found such a similar one for $20!

Ooh oops! I just re-read and realized that Urban Outfitters is the WINDOW curtain and not the shower curtain.

    TGIF!!!

When seasons change I like to go shopping in my own home. I have pieces I take out when it’s fall because they remind me of snuggling up in the crisp air with my family. (ie: candles, blankets, dishes.)
