I love changing our tablescape for the seasons or my changing mood {whichever comes first}!
We don’t have a formal dining room in this house; we have just kitchen bar with 2 stools and a fun modern table with room for only 4. It doesn’t give me a whole lot of space to play with, but I make do with what I have.
Awhile back, on one of my many Target stops with my mom, she spotted some fun placemats that were marked down to $1.38 each. They were ideal for our table and I bought them. I think they are quite perfect for spring/summer for a casual look. I bought 4 because I figured we can use 2 for our everyday dinners on at the table and use all 2 for dinners or dessert on the upstairs porch {we spruced up our porches last spring}.
Here’s what they look like on the porch…
Cute right? Inexpensive place mats are a quick way to pretty up a dining space- and a perfect reason to make a yummy dinner…
