You might have noticed that we aren’t hitting you with new blog posts daily like we used to. We are still here, still l have so much to talk about and can’t wait to get back in the blog pool.
I thought it would be a good time to tell you what I have been working on…
1. Our Rehab House:
You might have remembered our post entitled “We are Closing“…
We have been working on this house completely remodeling the entire house {outside & in}. It has been an incredible journey and we are so close to being done. I had originally planned on showing you the process step by step as we were doing it. I decided for everything to make sense, I was going to wait until it was finished and showcase it properly!! So, watch for the entire rehab house remodel on the blog soon!
2. Summer {enough said}.
We live in a beach town {which happens to be the #1 beach in the USA this year}. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the season. Sometimes you just have to put your toes in the sand…
3. Design Projects:
Lately new projects and clients are coming out of the woodwork. I have picked up 3 e-décor clients and 2 on location design clients in the last month. It is amazing and I am really excited about all of my new projects!! Of course, these take time and have taken priority right now! I will showcase each and every project on the blog once they are complete. {Click here to see the below design}.

4. My Website:
Remember how we mentioned we were getting a new site back in February? You may be wondering what in the world is going on over here with this little site. Well, the truth is my site overhaul was delayed due to designer issues. It has made blogging a little difficult. I am now going in a new direction and I am pumped about it. So we are looking at about 6 weeks for the new site. Get excited because it will be awesome.
5. Blogs:
I am completely revamping our blog schedule to make things organized and easy to follow. I will have new topics, categories and a schedule so you can see what topics are when. Sound great? Cool, because I am excited about the new idea…
6. Contributor:
I mentioned to you all last year that I am a contributor {content manager} for HGTV Design Star contestant Jason Champion. I help him write posts for his blog and maintain his platform. He has been really busy with his new show, so we are getting ready to start blogging again! {Read here how I first met Jason}.
I am now the newest contributor for Nicole at Chic Cheap Nursery. I am so honored and honestly thrilled that Nicole asked me to be a part of her blog team. It is going to be a fun new adventure!! I will be contributing 1-2 posts a month on various design topics related to all things Nursery! Hop on over to read all the contributors bio’s and info!
7. We re-painted our kitchen {again}.
I just wasn’t in love with the brown… so it is now a new color. A post will be up on the blog soon!!
8. Sewing:
I recently bought some new fabric from Joann’s and I have big plans to make some new pillows for our living room… I have several ideas and can’t wait to show you. I also have a bright idea to make a simple curtain for our laundry room door/window. Blog posts soon on this…

9. DIY Projects:
I have several things in our garage that need some TLC. I bought a few items that need some paint and quickly. This wooden cabinet, nightstand & a side table are crying for paint. I also need to finish up my round side table re-do. In addition to these furniture pieces, I am working on a new wreath for our front entry and some paintings for our home.

10. Graphic Prints & Photography:
We mentioned it awhile ago, but once our new site launches, we will have a shop where we offer graphic and photography prints. I have been working diligently on new designs and pieces. Get excited! Here is a sample…
