Sunday Blog Parade: 3

We are three weeks into our weekly Sunday Blog Party {catch the 1st week and 2nd week} already and we have been having a blast {we have the details on this thing we call the Sunday Blog Parade in case you were wondering}.

In addition to the vast amount of emails we have been getting about this new venture, a few of my {local} friends have mentioned how much they have enjoyed the parades so far! I am thrilled everyone is having as much as I am finding new blogs to read and gathering creative inspiration!

This week was filled with lots of work, birthdays and some ‘momma and me’ time {it was fun and well deserved}.

The week went by pretty fast and I owe one person a big mention today:

Back to the Parade…

Again, last the last two weeks, I found so many new blogs I heart. I am loving this new idea and am excited to see what each week holds!

I found Melanie’s My Sweet Savannah not that long ago and fell for her elegant and blog instantly! She writes an adorable blog and her style is really sweet! I was flipping through her blog this week and found her post about revamping the wall behind her sofa. She took a bunch of mismatched frames and DIY’d some fun signs and made her self the most delightful gallery wall. I adore it. {I have had a gallery wall in the works for a few months now too… just need to develop the last pictures and I am ready to hang}.

Take a look…

I am loving the signs and the black and white approach…

P.S. She happens to have an adorable Esty Shop full of frames, prints, pillows & more!

Katie from My Pencil Box showcased her son {Max’s} new creative studio. One wall is a complete artistic wall and covered in a chalkboard so he can be free to get creative and doodle until his heart is content. She also had some fun with the pops of color in the space and made functionality a key component with the side tables and hanging bins. I adore it. I might even be a little jealous of his creative studio {I totally want one}. I am going to keep this in my inspiration files because my children {when we have some} will have to have one of these spaces {just so mommy can play too}. Take a peek…

Fantastic right? I love, love, love it.

Kate’s Place is also a fun blog to follow. Her style is really clean & crisp and she gets really creative with her home. This week she posted about a two little DIY projects she finished this week {really cute}. She took a old {small} glass door, painted the glass some chalkboard paint, painted it white and hung it, then she lined a really pretty wooden tray with sheet music to finish the space off. ADORABLE. What a great idea for a message board in the kitchen… loving her cottage style!! Check is out…

Go & stop by Kate’s blog and check this post out!!

I also took a peek {ok, quite a few} at Myra’s blog The Casabella Project. Her blog is absolutely fantastic and worth the virtual trip over there!! She has really great ideas and is very creative!! She showcases her home and design style as well as offering inspiration and DIY tutorials. This week she made a Valentine’s Burlap Wreath and it is so, so, so cute! I heart it {pun intended}.

I love this idea for Valentine’s Day, don’t you? Take the virtual leap & go check out The Casabell Project!

Mandi started stenciling it this week over on her blog Vintage Revival. She had a fun accent wall already and decided she wanted to change it up a bit. She did. She grabbed one of the stencils from The Cutting Edge {our lovely sponsor} and re-painted her wall. I absolutely love the golden-yellow hue she chose and the pattern is to die for. I have been saving a few stencil designs for a wall in our home and this has to be one of my favorites! I love it!

Isn’t it stunning? I love, love it! It makes me want to go get my paint clothes on and my paint brush {and finally decide on a stencil} and paint away. What do ya think?

  • Shout out for National Pet Day to Finley who came at the perfect time to bring our family joy! After losing our beloved Bentley, I really thought I wouldn’t want another dog for awhile. Just about a month later last fall, this precious Mini Goldendoodle captured my heart from @d_shalom_goldendoodles! To say we are in love with him would be an understatement! He is super sweet, smart and just the best! • Miss Lilah Chapel danced beautifully in her very first dance recital! I enjoyed every second and might have shed a few tears! She stepped out on stage and starting waving at me, pointing telling everyone I was her mommy and saying hi! The music came on and I was watching this beautiful girl I had prayed and dreamt about twirl around. I was instantly overcome with emotion and gratitude!
