Hi! It’s Wednesday… already, can you believe it? Happy Leap Year (day)!!! It’s been a pretty busy week over here! We are preparing to finally open up our e-shop, doing a few lil diy projects and picking out new paint colors for our bedroom. (What can I say, I love to change things). I’ve got TONS in the works that I just can’t wait to tell you about! In the meantime… It’s all about Ikat today!

Rehab House Before’s

Color Crush: Chartreuse
Friday I showed you some candlesticks I had picked up from a thrift store… They were brand new from Crate & Barrel… still had the packaging and tags on them. I am not sure why someone wouldn’t have taken them back from store credit or a refund, but I sure am glad they didn’t! Anyways, I had been ‘eyeing’ those candlesticks for awhile… it’s something about greens that have me a little excited these days… especially chartreuse!!

We are in the ‘styling & decorating’ phase of this fun little project and I can’t wait to show you the entire project!! You are going to love it (hopefully)! It’s no secret that I LOVE flowers! I love fresh flowers & potted flowers! This year, Kevin surprised me on my birthday with 3 sets of beautiful fresh cut flowers… They are so pretty I thought I should share!
28 Things…
Monday, February 6th, I turned 28! I had a fabulous birthday surrounded by family who love me…. it was pure bliss. Even though New Year’s is generally perceived as the ‘beginning of the year’, my birthday always feels like the beginning of mine. I am a big “birthday girl”. I love birthdays. In fact, I have a “birthday week” I love it so much!
