Blogiversary I: Time Sure Does Fly

A Design Story turns one this week (insert blowing out the candle effect sound effect here).  And to celebrate, we’re doing a couple of things to mark the incredible year we’ve shared with all of you.

Yep… We are one this week {and I turned the big 27 yesterday}. Time sure does fly when you are having fun!!

First, we’ve lined up a week of blogiversary-themed posts that take a look back at some of our favorite old posts coupled with some new stories, answers to some of your questions, a giveaway and all the behind-the-scenes dirt.  We have a few more surprise posts up our sleeve too! Plus, since we value your opinions, we are going to give you the chance to tell us what your birthday wish is for year 2 of A Design Story {tell us what you want more of, love & more}.

Actually, there are so many favorite moments and I will keep filling you in all week long! 

After launching my own interior design company, I researched other ways to introduce great design to a broad number of people while also offering design dilemma solutions on the cheap. I came across the idea of blogging and having an e-décor shop and thought it would be the perfect branch off my local design co. This is when A Design Story {.} com took flight and became what it is today. My entire goal is to get those who aren’t familiar with interior design more tips, offer affordable design services {via online} and inspire you to fall in love with all things interior design, while giving you the tools to be able to create beautiful spaces too!
