It’s that time once again… the Sunday Blog Parade…
We are four weeks into our weekly Sunday Blog Party {catch the 1st week and 2nd week and 3rd week} already! This past week was our 1stYear Blogiversary and we are excited to get back to the parade… it was a really busy week of e-décor designs, the blogiversary posts & a few DIY projects we worked on around here {posts to come}
{We have the details on this thing we call the Sunday Blog Parade in case you were wondering}. I am absolutely having a ball finding new blogs to follow and new inspiration to acquire!
Let’s get this Started…
First up, Courtney @ Project Pretty is a design blogger, but right now she is blogging & showcasing LIFE. Interior design is my passion, but sometimes there are things more important than that. I found her blog while I was ‘blog hopping’ this week and I read and read and cried. Courtney’s husband was a lineman for a power company and was involved in a very high voltage accident back on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Her and her husband, Zane have been through quite the journey and she was vulnerable enough to share it with all of her readers. I can’t help but go back to Project Pretty everyday to pray for them and get updates. God has sustained them through this very difficult journey and I would encourage you to visit Courtney & encourage her from time to time as their lives start to get back to ‘normal’ and they move toward a bright future!
Visit her to check out her cute blog and maybe even lend a little encouragement!!
Joan, from For the Love of a House, has an absolutely breathtaking home. I actually fell upon her ‘home’ through my friend Rhoda’s blog {Southern Hospitality}. Joan has a truly stunning home and I adore her style. Her house is picturesque and I may even be a little jealous of the character her house holds. Many of you know, I have a thing about pantry’s {we recently re-did ours} and Joan has a lovely pantry {which is hard to find in a historic home}. Lucky Gal. Take a look…
And visit her blog… believe me, you won’t regret it!
My friend Jennifer from The Newlywed Diaries blog has fantastic style too. She recently had a beautiful baby girl, who’s sex was a surprise until her arrival, which makes decorating a nursery a bit tough. Jennifer did a fabulous job of creating a neutral space that would have worked for a boy and will absolutely work their little girl. She and her hubby took on a few DIY projects to transform this space from the guest room to the nursery. Their baby {Eliott} is just 5 weeks old & already the nursery is taking a new vibe and is almost done…
Adorable, right? Run over and see the rest of the space and their beautiful baby girl.
This week I also stopped by a new blog {new to me} called Home & Harmony written by a fantastic gal named Rie. She posted about the most adorable reading nook…
After adopting a beautiful little girl {Charlotte} about 2 years ago, Rie and her family had to take a crash course on how to care for someone who is blind. Her daughter is gorgeous and happens to be blind… a definite challenge I am sure. A few weeks ago, the Perkins Braille Writer they ordered came in the mail and they have been hard at work trying to use it! Rie made Charlotte the most adorable reading nook. I adore it.
I adore Home & Harmony too. A definite new blog to follow.
Last but absolutely not least, The Crafty Sisters. What a fun blog they have!! If you want to get creative and crafty… go and visit them!
I actually found their blog through a blog hop party {similar to this one} and fell in love with this DIY project they recently took on for a guest post on Infarrantly Creative. They took inspiration from a Pottery Barn catalog and made it a reality with just a little DIY energy!
Check out their blog for more craftiness!
