Who doesn’t love a good shopping day? Yesterday, after the blog posted, I took a much needed ‘personal day’. My mom and I headed out to breakfast & a day of shopping… it was a blast.
I got to thinkin… wouldn’t it be so fun if all of my readers & fellow bloggers could get together for a fun day of shopping & thrifting? It would be a blast!! I took you on a virtual shopping trip with me thrifting once and again to Target last March…
I decided since it would be virtually impossible for everyone to make the trip with my mom and I, I would bring our day of shopping to you and show you the best finds…
1st Stop: HomeGoods.
I love HomeGoods for everything from linens & furniture to serving ware and accessories.
I am loving this neutral dining set…
this tiered serving dish…
and these fun cups & cake plate… p.s. I love a cake plate… I even make my own!
We were in need of a few new pans for the kitchen & these were the perfect price…
HomeGoods is also a great source for lamps…
I have so many nieces and nephews {and I have babies on the brain lately} and I am loving these pillows…
There are also a ton of interesting, unique & fun accessories on the shelves… here are a couple of my favorites…
Spring is almost here and I have already re-planted my pots with blooming flowers… these pots are adorable {my mom bought the yellow & gray one… so cute}
And this seahorse… wouldn’t that be so cute in a beach house? YES!!
Now.. let’s virtual take a drive to the good ol’ TJ Maxx…
TJ Maxx has fantastic designer brands for less… I shop for home decor & accessories {both for me and our place} and clothes there…
I found this scalloped mirror on the discount aisle… love it…
I am also into bright & spring-y frames right now and these fit the obession perfectly…
I also loved these accessories too…
TJ Maxx has an aisle of beautiful art & framed prints… these two have been catching my eye for awhile…
Lastly, since spring has already arrived where we live, garden accessories are beginning to pop up everywhere…
Check out this lime green table set…
Last virtual shop of the day… the infamous Target {I go at least 3 times a week}…
They had spring frames too… {I love the one on the top right}
and they also have some fun & whimsical garden accessories…
You saw the yellow & gray pot earlier from Homegoods… well Tarjay has matching accessories for the kitchen/ dining room…
Now let’s talk bathroom decor…
I adore this bird towel & matching shower curtain…
This blue set is sharp too…
and I pretty much love these soap dispensers…
They also change out seasonal collection in the kitchen ware area and I am loving this white & navy set {remember, I kinda want to introduce some navy in with our aqua, tan & white home}
I adore Target. I just do.
A Design Story, LLC. was not paid or compensated for mentioned HomeGoods, TJ Maxx or Target. We adore their stores and wanted to share a virtual shopping trip with our lovely readers. All photos were taken by me and are property of A Design Story, LLC & the stores in which they were taken from!
I regularly shop these stores & more for our home & for my clients {in addition to designing custom items as well}. Where do you shop? Do you prefer one place over another?? Need help finding the best places for certain items? Ask Away…
P.S. We are re-vamping the site soon.. wanna know more about it? Click here. We are also adding two stores to the site {one for virtual design packages still & one for decor, prints, photography & more… check out only a few of the secrets here}.

I love all the navy stuff Target has out right now! Fits right in with my addiction to the color blue. 🙂

The bird shower curtain caught my eye too… so, I bought it! My bathroom is painted the lighter blue that’s in the bird & butterfly. I am designed challenged; however, and can’t decide on art work or rugs! What would you put with this curtain? My floor is cream colored.
